Heroin 4Set the date April 25 at 5:30 pm at the Ste. Genevieve Community Center.

Laborers local 830 will be hosting an event cosponsored by the Ste. Genevieve community center about the opioid crisis and Narcan. This crisis has swept across our nation and left many broken families and deaths in its wake, over 60,000 people lost their lives from this drug in 2016. Our guest speaker Nicole Browning with NCADA will dispel the myths about Narcan and help people understand substance abus...e disorders related to opioids, from pills to heroin. This will be an event for all ages and backgrounds, everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.

It our hopes that these community forums are going to continue to take place, to better educate everyone as we stand together in this fight.

There will be absolutely no politics or sales of any kind at this event, this is to educate our citizens only. This event will also be free to the public.
