Certified copies of Birth or Death Certificates can be purchased from the health department approximately 6-8 weeks following the birth or death.
We are only able to print for those who were born or passed in the State of Missouri.
Currently, most certified certificates are available for deaths occurring after 1983 and births occurring after 1920.
Fees are as follows:
- Death Certificates: $14.00 for the first copy and $11.00 for each subsequent copy purchased at the same time as the first copy.
- Birth Certificates: $15.00 for each certified copy.
Valid identification required. Local Checks only.
Please be aware that we cannot make any changes or corrections on vital records. Corrections must be made by the Bureau of Vital Records in Jefferson City, MO.
