Van Law Food Products Inc. is recalling Whole Foods Market 365 Organic Creamy Caesar Dressing because it contains undeclared Soy and Wheat allergens.

People with an allergy or severe sensitivity to Soy or Wheat run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these Ingredients. The product was sold in the produce or dairy department and distributed in the states of Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the product was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of Soy and Wheat allergen. Subsequent investigation indicates that the problem was caused when the back label from another product was mistakenly put on the product being recalled.

Consumers who purchased Whole Foods Market 365 Organic Creamy Caesar Dressing with UPC code 99482-49027 in 12oz glass bottles with a Best by date of 04/06/2023 should discard the product and seek a refund at the point of sale with receipt. Consumers with additional questions can call 1- 844-936-8255 between the hours of 7:00 am and 10:00 pm CST.

D. F. Stauffer Biscuit Co., Inc. is voluntarily recalling 44 oz Market Pantry White Fudge Animal Cookies because they may contain metal. The product comes in a clear plastic jug formed to a bear shape. The recall affects only the following Best By Date, Lot Numbers, and time stamps, printed on the back side of the bear jug on the product label, below the nutritional panel.

The recall was initiated when metal (wire) was found inside a portion of the cookies. Foodborne foreign objects that are hard, sharp, and large are more likely to cause serious injury or dental injury. Foodborne foreign objects that are flexible, not sharp, and smaller in length are more likely to cause minor injuries such as transient choking or small lacerations in the gastrointestinal system.

8/29/22-Mighty Sesame 10.9 Oz Organic Tahini (Squeezable)

Company Announcement
Rushdi Food Industries, an Israeli based manufacturer, is voluntarily recalling their Mighty Sesame 10.9 Oz Organic Tahini (Squeezable) with the specific expiration date of 3/28/23 due t0 potential Salmonella contamination. Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severs illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.
This recall was initiated when the company received a notification by the FDA and the West Virginia Department of Health of the potential presence of Salmonella in this specific lot. The company has received no reports of illness or injury to date. We immediately informed all Stores who had purchased this product within this lot code about this Recall and instructed them to remove any product which might be on their shelves. The Facility reviewed cleaning procedures, Environmental Monitoring Program Results, Process Flow and possible Root of Contamination without any positive findings.
Only packages bearing the following Lot Code/Best by date are being recalled at this time. All products other than the ones with the affected Best by Date mentioned in the table are ok to consume.

The recalled product was distributed to stores located in the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut as well as Wal-Mart stores nationwide during the first 2 weeks of May 2022. Consumers who may have purchased this product are advised to discontinue use immediately and discard or return the product for credit or refund. If a consumer experiences the symptoms listed above and believes they may have been exposed to Salmonella, they are urged to report to a medical provider.

FSIS Announcement
WASHINGTON, July 30, 2022 – Conagra Brands, Inc., a Russellville, Ark. establishment, is recalling approximately 119,581 pounds of frozen beef products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The product contains egg, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label. 
The products are labeled as beef and broccoli but contain orange chicken. These items were produced on May 26 and May 27, 2022. The following products are subject to recall [view labels]:
  • 22-oz. plastic bag packages containing “P.F. CHANG’S HOME MENU BEEF & BROCCOLI” with lot code “5006 2146 2012” and “BEST BY MAY 21 2023”.
The products subject to recall bear establishment number “P115” on the side panel above the nutrition facts. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide and impacts only the P.F. Chang’s Home Menu Beef & Broccoli product listed. It does not include any product sold at P.F. Chang’s restaurants.   
The problem was discovered when the producing establishment notified FSIS that it received two consumer complaints that the beef and broccoli package contained a chicken-based product.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.

KANSAS CITY, Mo., July 12, 2022 — Belfonte Dairy is announcing a recall of the 1.5 quarts (1.41 L)Chocolate to Die For” Premium Ice Cream produced at its Kansas City ice cream manufacturing facility. The product may contain undeclared peanuts. People with an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The affected products were sold and distributed to customers at Hy-Vee, Cash Saver, Harps, Price Mart and Heartland Stores and distributors in the following areas: 
  • Kansas City, Missouri Metro Area, including Kansas City, Kansas
  • Tulsa, Oklahoma
  • Columbia, Missouri
  • Springfield, Missouri, and surrounding areas
If consumers have the Belfonte “Chocolate to Die For” Premium Ice Cream, with the codes listed in the image below, they can return it to the place of purchase for a refund.

Belfonte initiated the recall after receiving a consumer complaint, where it was discovered that the Chocolate to Die For cartons of ice cream were distributed in packages that did not declare the presence of peanuts. Belfonte has not received any reports of illness associated with this product to date.
To ensure 100% containment of the product, Belfonte Dairy is recalling all 1.5-quart packages of “Chocolate to Die For Ice Cream” with the two use-by dates indicated in the image above. Other Belfonte Dairy products are not part of this recall.
